On Saturday, May 13, Eran Junryu Vardi Roshi will be leading a Zazenkai at Shobo-ji on the Upper East Side of New York City. The event will be from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, and will include multiple periods of Zazen, liturgy, Dokusan, lunch, and a Teisho. The fee for this event is $40. This is a great opportunity to experience practice at a traditional Rinzai temple.

The one-day Zazenkai scheduled for Sunday, March 26, 2017 has been changed to a half-day event, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This will also be the beginning of our spring Ango and we will hold an entry ceremony during this event.

The next Zazenkai at Eiryu-ji Zen Center is scheduled for Sunday, February 26. This will be an all-day event, from 8:30 until 4:00, and it will include lunch in a traditional format.
